If the financial crisis let the Americans change their shopping habbits, it is obviously that China will suffer a lot. If the rate of unemployment keeps rising, the stable of the whole society will be affected.
America is now exporting unemployment to the world but I believe China can suffer from it
100%
This unfortunate effect of the US recession will hit Chinese workers hard. However the Chinese government's huge stimulus package and the change of approach in china to encourage domestic growth should hopefully turn things around. china is cash-rich and they will overcome this temporary setback - for sure.
In my opinion,China is less afected by the finacial crisis due to the chinese financial market is fairly isolated from western countries so i although the lost is inevitable, it is still acceptable. On the other hand,it may be a good chance to some factories which have good credit to get sufficient cash to survive from the drop in exports.
The product being manufactured will never be made in America, because the retail price will be too high for the cosumer,so export from china is a good chioce. but now US is in recession, so everyone has cut their spending so demand will be low, as a result of this,a lot factories in china has closed and the unemloymrnt has risen
I have to pointed out that the economy prosperity needs western world. Around 35% products chinese produced are exported to our dear western friends year by year, without these regular buyers,it will be like a hit on head which is mortal, because this 35% is surplus.
I fall in chinese exports can lead more difficulties to the economy such as a deficit in the balance of payment. It can be also cause problems to firms which sales comes from exports. E Vicente
China's export relies on other countries' economic situation, especially developed countries such as America.but I have confidence that China will recover soon as a series of policies are coming out.
Chinese supplier are being careful and demanding that exporters show that they have a strong balance sheet. So that there isn't a delay in payment fo chinese goods. This will make the suppliers to tr and borrow some money to cover the difference
I went back to China during Christmas holiday, and I felt that desperation has caused serious problems in China. You can see works seeking for a job everywhere on the streets in China, and crime is raising sharply cause money of them couldn't get their pay before Chinese new year

However higher unemployment in China can force many people to open their own bussines so after few years China's economy can become even stronger.
Chinese economy seem not be good, many companies closed, lots of people lost their job.But I think the government will turn things around.
The world economics institution should be changed.

China's exports drop reflects that the imports countries are also not seem to be good. They can't afford imports the same amount as before.Like most of the european countries.
